Expert Flash Developer

JN Media Design, a seven person boutique design firm, is looking to hire a talented Flash Developer to head the programming of a million-dollar plus multi-media, virtual-world themed website.  Our work environment is laid-back and fun with very down-to-earth people.  There will be absolutely no corporate bureaucracy, formal policies or practices.  You will be expected to work hard and be creative in your development and programming style.  In addition, we can offer and encourage, autonomy and you will be reporting directly to the owners of the company.


Required Skills:
3 years of experience in Action Script/Adobe Flash and Web Development
Expert knowledge of Flash animation techniques using both the timeline and programmatic motion
Expert Knowledge of PHP programming and JavaScript familiarity
Knowledge of SQL and basic database design and the ability to communicate with a database (usually mySQL) for generating dynamic flash pages is a must.
Expert knowledge of Flash Compression techniques and file structuring practices
2 years experience with consuming XML within Flash
Streaming and progressive Flash video delivery
Must be familiar with OOP concepts and class-based development.
Ability to work in a team environment and produce under tight deadlines.
BS or BA in related field
